No último ano, 648 empresas investiram em lobbying relacionado à IA, em comparação com 458 em 2023, segundo dados do OpenSecrets. A legislação como o CREATE AI Act e o Advancement and Reliability Act recebeu o apoio de grandes players como Microsoft e OpenAI, respectivamente.


O aumento nos gastos de lobbying também foi observado em laboratórios de IA, que normalmente se dedicam à comercialização de tecnologias de IA.
