Llama 3.1 Impact Grants: Novas Oportunidades para Projetos de Impacto Social

A Meta anunciou a abertura das inscrições para o Llama 3.1 Impact Grants, um programa que visa financiar projetos que utilizem a inteligência artificial Llama 3.1 para resolver desafios sociais e econômicos em comunidades ao redor do mundo. Com um total de até US$ 2 milhões disponíveis, as propostas podem ser enviadas até 22 de novembro de 2024.

O programa Llama 3.1 Impact Grants é a mais recente iniciativa da Meta para apoiar organizações que utilizam a IA de código aberto Llama 3.1 em projetos de impacto social. Desde o lançamento do primeiro programa de subsídios em outubro de 2023, a Meta tem visto aplicações significativas da tecnologia em áreas como educação, entretenimento e medicina.


  1. As inscrições estão abertas até 22 de novembro de 2024.

  2. Os projetos selecionados podem receber até US$ 500.000.

  3. Eventos regionais serão realizados para apoiar os candidatos.


Além do financiamento, a Meta organizará eventos presenciais e virtuais em diversos países para fornecer orientação técnica e mentoria aos candidatos. Esses eventos ocorrerão em regiões como América Latina, África Subsaariana, Ásia e Oriente Médio, entre outras. Participantes desses eventos podem ganhar prêmios adicionais de até US$ 100.000.

O programa anterior, Llama Impact Grants, recebeu mais de 800 inscrições de 90 países, com 20 finalistas avançando para a fase final. A Meta também lançou o Llama Impact Innovation Awards para regiões específicas, oferecendo até US$ 300.000 em prêmios. Os vencedores serão anunciados em setembro, juntamente com os finalistas do primeiro programa de subsídios.
