Profissionais de TI clamam por regulamentação mais rígida da IA

Uma nova pesquisa da SolarWinds revela que 88% dos profissionais de TI defendem uma maior regulamentação governamental da IA, destacando preocupações com segurança e privacidade.

A pesquisa da SolarWinds, que entrevistou quase 700 especialistas em TI, mostra que 88% deles acreditam que a IA precisa de uma regulamentação governamental mais rigorosa. A segurança é a principal preocupação, com 72% dos entrevistados enfatizando a necessidade de proteger a infraestrutura, seguida pela privacidade, com 64% pedindo regras mais robustas para proteger informações sensíveis.


Rob Johnson, VP e Chefe Global de Engenharia de Soluções da SolarWinds, destacou a importância de medidas proativas, como a melhoria da higiene de dados e a aplicação de ética robusta em IA, para maximizar o potencial da tecnologia e garantir conformidade com regulamentações em evolução.


Além de segurança e privacidade, 55% dos profissionais de TI acreditam que a intervenção governamental é crucial para combater a desinformação gerada por IA. A pesquisa também revelou uma falta de confiança na qualidade dos dados, com apenas 38% dos entrevistados se considerando 'muito confiantes' na qualidade dos dados usados em sistemas de IA.


A pesquisa destaca que a qualidade dos dados é o segundo maior obstáculo para a adoção da IA, atrás apenas dos riscos de segurança e privacidade. Menos da metade dos profissionais de TI confiam na capacidade de suas empresas de atender às crescentes demandas de dados da IA, o que é exacerbado pela percepção de que as organizações não estão implementando IA rapidamente o suficiente.


À medida que a IA continua a transformar o cenário tecnológico, a pesquisa da SolarWinds serve como um alerta para a necessidade de regulamentação mais forte e melhores práticas de dados.
